We saddle stitch our booklets. This is where pages are bound together using staples (known as stitches to printers) along the spine. This process is ideal for documents of up to 48 printed pages. The spine is squared off on booklets with more than 24 printed pages, stopping the booklets from springing open.
The booklets are created in multiples of 4 pages – imagine a sheet of paper folded in half, it has 4 pages.
You can choose from a range of high-quality papers including a selection of luxury papers. Choose heavier stock for the cover, with a choice of matt or gloss lamination for added strength. Choose a less heavy stock for the inner text pages and for more than 28 pages 130gsm or lighter which will stop your booklet from springing open.
Choose from A4 portrait, 1/3 A4 portrait, A5 portrait or landscape, or 210 x 210mm square. Then choose between single or double-sided lamination in gloss or matt finish for your cover, or opt for no lamination.
Magno Satin coated paper is smooth to the touch with a discreet surface sheen. It offers excellent ink to paper contrast and printed colours appear clear and distinct.
Magno Gloss coated paper has a shiny surface and a smooth finish. Ink dries quickly and lamination is not necessary. 130gsm – 350gsm Uncoated premium uncoated paper is more absorbent than coated papers. Printed inks appear flatter due to this absorbency and this paper has a soft finish.
Matt lamination gives a soft effect. Gloss lamination gives a quality shine. Lamination is good for solid colours or images and enhances their vibrancy. It also protects your printed documents and makes them last longer. Lamination is only available on stock over 250gsm
